I open on both Christmas Day and Eve because I'm with different sides of my family for each day. I also open presents during hanukkah with my friends that celebrate.

There ought to be an option for both, because we celebrate Christmas Eve with one side of my family and Christmas Day with the other, so I open presents on both days.

usually on Christmas Eve we each open one present and those would be the gifts that we (siblings) were assigned to give to one another. I'm number 5 out of 7 and so we rotate every year

Then on Christmas morning we open the presents from "Santa"

Kinda both...my parents & brother (who is 25 years older) open theirs on Christmas Eve and my sister and I can open one...but ONLY one. Then on Christmas Day we get to open all of them!!! and my parents and brother just watch while we enjoy ourselves... but the best part? Thats when you wake up at 3am, go into your parents bedroom, then scream at the top of your lungs SANTA CAME!!! and force them to get out of bed XD
