You can always count on me for a long, details, and I didn't really expect anyone to write that much...SHUTUP ALREADY MY BRAIN HURTS, AND MY EYES ARE BLEEDING FROM ALL THE TEXT!
It depends on what you are looking for. Color is a major factor. Some colors look better on some people. My mother would look terrible in Dress 3's color. I would look great in dress 3's color (The Color not the dress...-headdesk- ^_^'
Anyhow, as I was saying, color is a factor. Purely on design, Dress 1 is more formal, rich, basically if you want to look like a rich girl. Not background associated, just rich or going to a really really formal party. Think FFVIII the prom/party/dance thing!
Anyhow, dress 2 is more uber cute milk maid dress. Basically, if you want to be the girl who falls for the prince. (i.e. Petite Princess Yucie) Perhaps another Zelda character I can think of...Zelda might be caught in 2 or 3, but I don't think 1.
Dress 3 is more a middle of the road dress. More middle class, normal girl. Very cute, but not form a specific personality. Kind of an Alice in Wonderland type dress. Something that is middle class, but could be worn by a girl of any era, class, etc. I'd also look into bust size and what you are trying to accentuate. Dress three is most likely the most reserved of the three. Dress 1 and 2 are most busty and push the cleavage forward. So more sexy (dress 1) more cute w/ milk maid sexiness (dress 2). Three is more of a reserved cuteness dress.
I could see you in dress 3 (if the color works). Standing there, holding your hands behind your back, and looking incredibly, drop dead, uber, hyper, make eyes bleed, CUTE! Hot, and beautiful. However, that's my choice. I like it because it's more reserved. Dress 1 and 2 aren't as realistic for the Gothic look. People in the Victorian Era would not be caught dead in something that showed that much arm...
If you want something more historically accurate and cute but in a reserved sort of way, something you can play middle of the road with, go with three. Otherwise, take the suggestions and decide what you think is best for what you are trying to go for. ^_^'
Listen to me now, and do not buy any of thoes dresses. It's not a reliable place to buy from. Never, ever buy anything lolita, off of ebay. It's going to be low quality, be a very cheap dress. I'm not trying to be preachy or a jerk, but just trying to save you alote of greif ;
If you want good quality lolita clothes, try sights like Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Angelic Pretty, or Metamorphose, thought it is pricy, it;ll be better in the long run.
If you're looking for something cheeper, Candy Violet, and In the Starlight, are two American made lolita stores, and also have very cute things. I obuth a petticoat off of Candy Violet that I';m very happy with.
But please don't buy off of ebay. I even googled the seller of htoes dresses to make sure, and they are not reliable.
