I like the background!! It looks like she has a really big ear on the right side of her head. :D :D :D

I like this style, the boldness of the background against the washed-out character.
Sometimes it's fun to do "something else" than what you would normally do, it broadens your horizons.

Rad background there. When I try to do minimalist backgrounds, they just come off as looking empty, so kudos.

You need to work on feet and shoes a little more. She looks a little stumpy, and her hands and arms are a little odd. Nice colours.
